Chevrolet Silverado 2020

Work trucks earn their keep on a roleplay server. This one turns up in silver with its headlights on beside a hillside fence, then again at a canyon roadside, black wheels under plain bodywork and no badge anywhere on the tailgate.

Where the FiveM Chevrolet Silverado 2020 fits in

The spawn name is tolboss20. There are four seats, and a livery template comes with it, so a construction firm, a ranch or a tow outfit can run its own artwork. No tuning parts are wired in. The truck is unbranded at the front and the rear.

Files and figures

• Poly count: 289.902
• .yft file: 10.6 MB
• .ytd file: 5.3 MB
• Tuning parts: none
• Seats: 4
• Livery template: Yes

At 10.6 MB and 5.3 MB this is one of the larger downloads in its pack. The textures carry more weight than usual, which is what happens when a body has this much flat surface to cover in paint and trim.

On the road

Silver is the default colour for a truck like this. The headlights are on in the first shot, which suits a dawn start. Black wheels are the only styling note. Everything else is left plain, ready for a livery to do the talking.

About the real Chevrolet Silverado

Chevrolet adopted the Silverado name in 1999 for its full-size pickup line, having used it before that as a trim level on the C/K trucks. General Motors keeps the range wide, from work-spec regular cabs to loaded crew cabs. Buyers are builders, farmers, fleet managers and families who tow. It is the kind of vehicle that spends its life half-loaded, and the shape is drawn around that job.

Pack E, and the pit version

This truck is one of 49 vehicles in Unbranded Car Pack E. The grey Silverado from the Pit Car Pack is a different file: it carries a push bar, a slightly higher poly count and slightly larger files, and it answers to a spawn name of its own. Same truck on paper, two models on disk. More from the marque is on the Chevrolet vehicle page.
